Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a long-term vision and product strategy for the next-generation Cloudera data services platform and align it with Cloudera's broader strategic objectives. ? Feature Specification: Translate high-level visions into product requirements documents (PRD), user stories, and epic scenarios in Jira for platform development. Define the "what" and "why" for the technical team with emphasis on desired outcomes such as performance, scalability, security, reliability, and usability. ? Development Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a product development roadmap based on priorities. Make feature prioritization decisions driven by data, balancing customer needs, market trends, and technical debt. ? Market and Customer Insights: Conduct ongoing market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify new opportunities. Serve as the primary channel for customer feedback through direct communication with the field, customers, and partners. ? Kubernetes Roadmap Ownership: Drive feature development for elasticity, cost optimization, and automated resource management across hybrid cloud, ensuring cloud efficiency of Cloudera data services. ? Go-to-Market and Launch: Support successful product launches by collaborating with marketing, sales, and documentation teams. Create compelling messaging and onboard internal teams and customers. ? Education (required): Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. ? Experience: More than 5 years of experience in product management with substantial hands-on experience with distributed data platforms or cloud data services. ? Technical Area: ? Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem ? Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure ? Experience managing containerized products delivered via Kubernetes ? Product Skills: Demonstrated ability to write precise technical specifications (PRD), create use cases/user stories, analyze customer behavior patterns, simplify complex technical solutions, and efficiently manage product backlogs ?
