Do you want to help people achieve a more mobile life? We are looking for an Orthopedic Technician Patient Receptionist for our clinic located at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. We are a specialized adult care facility that sees approximately 350 patients per week with both acute and chronic functional limitations. We meet patients at our clinic and also work at team clinics at, among other places, Södersjukhuset.
Your Responsibilities
As an orthopedic technician patient receptionist, your main responsibility will be to receive and assist patients with shoes and insoles, as well as with simpler prefabricated orthoses such as knee and ankle supports. After internal training with us, you will work as a prescriber of orthopedic aids under the delegation of a licensed colleague. Your tasks will include assessing orthotic needs and adapting and delivering prescribed orthopedic devices. You will be part of our clinical team and participate in development activities with them.
Who We Are Looking For
Completed upper secondary education
Experience working with people and interest in foot-related issues
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
Basic computer skills
It is advantageous if you have a licensed professional qualification, experience with sales/fitting of individual shoe insoles, or have worked in a similar role within sports/training/health/wellness

The Position
