What company and position is this?
The mission of European Centre for Career Education (ECCEDU) is to connect academic knowledge with real-world practice. We organize short-term educational and internship programs across Europe. These programs are designed to help students and young professionals develop the theoretical foundations they gained at universities while offering them the opportunity to learn from active professionals and experts in their field. As we organize increasingly more open and customized programs for universities, we are looking for a team member to help us with program organization and implementation as well as administrative operations.
How will you help us?
• You will be part of our operations team and will participate in planning, organizing, and implementing educational and internship programs in Prague (and possibly other cities such as Berlin or others). • You will help create schedules for the educational portion of programs, communicate with instructors, and coordinate lectures. • You will coordinate internships for our students at partner companies. • You will assist participants with their stay in Prague (e.g., arrival, airport transportation, resolving potential issues, etc.). • You will participate in preparing classrooms for instruction and other tasks necessary for smooth program operation. • You will help with back office administration (e.g., invoices, receipts, ad hoc administrative tasks, etc.).
Who are we looking for?
• You have excellent organizational skills and a systematic approach to work. • You have outstanding communication skills – you will communicate with partner companies, instructors, suppliers, company executives, students, and our team. • You are not intimidated by new challenges and are responsible in your duties. • You can work independently as well as part of a team. • You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • You have excellent command of English – both written and spoken – as our team and program participants are international.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a great advantage. • You have solid computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.). • You have the energy and desire to learn new things.
What else is important to us?
• Legal education and/or experience is a requirement. • Knowledge of and experience with ECCEDU programs is a huge advantage. • Experience with project or office management is welcome but not essential. • Interest in education and international relations is an advantage.
What can you look forward to?
• Opportunity to learn, gain new skills, and valuable experience. • A friendly, open, and international work environment with a team that takes their work meaningfully. • Work that has real impact and helps students from around the world. • Building connections with inspiring people across various fields.
What form will the collaboration take?
• We are looking for someone on a part-time basis, ideally with the possibility of expanding the collaboration in the future. • This collaboration is also suitable for recent graduates who want to gain experience in a small but dynamically growing organization. • Start date is planned for summer 2025, exact timing by mutual agreement. • We prefer long-term collaboration.
