Do you enjoy practical and varied work where you get to work with both machinery and materials? Do you like working together with others and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves? Then this could be the job for you!
On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a dedicated and responsible operator for a plastics industry facility in Svenljunga Municipality.
About the Role
As an operator, you will work in production primarily with machinery and material handling. The work tasks vary and include monitoring and operating machinery, sorting materials both by hand and at conveyor belts, as well as other common production tasks.
A large portion of the work takes place outdoors, which means you need to be comfortable with physical and practical work in varying weather conditions.
You will become part of a cohesive team with colleagues from different backgrounds and experiences. Here, diversity is a natural part of the workplace and something we take pride in. Together, you work as a team toward common goals and help each other where needed.
Working hours are arranged on a 2-shift schedule, Monday–Friday.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work and preferably has previous experience from production, industry, machine operator work, or similar. What is most important is that you have the right attitude, are responsible, and enjoy working together with others.
You need to be comfortable with physical work and with parts of your workday taking place outdoors. As a person, you are reliable, flexible, and thorough, and you contribute to a positive atmosphere in the work group.
We would like to see that you have:
Experience from production, industry, or similar practical work
Interest in machinery and production work
Good ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as clear communication is important in daily work
Class B driver's license
Merits
Previous experience as a machine operator
Experience from the plastics industry or similar operations
