A common misconception about the sawmill industry is that it involves heavy physical labor, but we want to change that image! The heavy work is largely handled by automated machinery, which means we need personnel to monitor and to some extent control the machine lines. We want our employees to feel engaged and have the opportunity to grow both in knowledge and within the company. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES What Does the Role Involve? We are now seeking additional operators for our further processing division at our Vislanda sawmill. In Vislanda, we manufacture structural timber, primarily for the British and Scandinavian markets. As an operator in further processing, you will work in the planning unit or planing mill, where you handle and monitor machinery and ensure that products maintain high quality and meet our customer requirements. The position involves working on a 2-shift schedule. QUALIFICATIONS Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking engaged and solution-oriented individuals who are driven to work toward set goals and who care about the final result. Above all, we value your willingness to contribute to the team and participate in daily improvement work. You have a strong ability to work systematically and structured in IT-based production systems. Experience from industry, and especially sawmills, is a merit. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Employment Type: Permanent employment.
