We are looking for someone with experience in people management, a strong interest in crop cultivation, and a drive to find innovative and efficient solutions in agriculture. You lead, plan, and develop daily operations – while actively participating in the work alongside your employees. Your profile As Managing Director and operational leader, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing daily operations in the cultivation of oil crops. The role involves close collaboration with employees and management, ensuring that work is planned, distributed, and carried out efficiently. You work both in the field and on administrative tasks. During the season, you are an active part of operations, participating in machinery operation, harvesting, and other field work. You are expected to be a present leader who works alongside the team, leads by example, and builds engagement through clear communication and good collaboration. We are looking for a confident, driven, and solution-oriented leader who thrives taking responsibility and working closely with your team. You have a genuine interest in agriculture and crop cultivation and are motivated by combining practical work with leading and developing others. To succeed in this role, we would like to see that you have: - Experience in people management, work supervision, or a similar leadership role. - Practical experience in crop cultivation and agriculture. - Experience operating machinery - combine harvester. - Ability to plan, structure, and distribute work tasks. - Good communication skills and a natural ability to collaborate with others. - Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and drive work forward. - An unpretentious approach where you are willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team. - It is a merit if you have experience in oil crop cultivation, larger-scale crop operations, or have previously held responsibility for operations and personnel. The person we are looking for should be someone who takes responsibility, sees opportunities, and makes things happen. As a leader, you are clear, attentive, and engaged. You have an easy way of building trust and motivating others, while you dare to make decisions and take responsibility when the situation requires it. About the company About Sättra Gård and Sättra Växtodling Sättra Gård is located in Upplands Väsby, north of Stockholm. The business works with municipalities in-house, but also as a subcontractor to larger companies. They also work with larger property owners and housing associations and have, among other things, framework agreements with Väsby Municipality for water and sewerage, streets/parks, and property management. Sättra Gård works closely with its sister company Sättra Växtodling, which operates agriculture focused on grain cultivation and oil crops. Today, the business has approximately 45 employees within areas such as gardening, landscaping, mechanics, machinery operation, truck driving, excavator work, and agriculture. As Managing Director of Sättra Växtodling, you will be an important part of this operation and have the opportunity to develop the agricultural side together with engaged employees and management.
