Your Responsibilities As an operational buyer at Saab Surveillance in Göteborg, you will have a central role in ensuring an efficient material flow to production and projects. You will work closely with both suppliers, strategic buyers, the planning department and project teams, and will be an important part of keeping daily operations running smoothly while ensuring an efficient material flow. You will work in various teams with a focus on production and projects, where quality, flexibility and the ability to quickly respond to changing needs are important parts of your daily work. Your responsibilities will include: Requests and Quotations – Send out requests for quotations, handle incoming offers and select suppliers in consultation with the strategic buyer. Operational Procurement – Manage procurement of materials and services based on planned needs and ensure that orders are handled efficiently. Delivery Tracking – Follow up on deliveries and act proactively to ensure that the right materials arrive at production on time. Supplier and Article Data – Maintain and update articles and supplier data in the procurement system. Handle and follow up on supplier invoices. About You This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in operational procurement work, preferably from manufacturing industry. You have relevant university education or at least three years of experience in procurement or logistics and thrive in a role where you can combine structure, problem-solving and many contact points. We would like to see that you have good knowledge of procurement systems and the Office package and can communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you are responsible, communicative and well-organized. You thrive in an environment where the pace can vary and where flexibility and the ability to prioritize when circumstances change are required. You take ownership of your tasks and find it easy to build good collaborations, both internally and with suppliers.
