Your Responsibilities
Do you want to work close to technology and innovation and help development projects become reality? As an operational procurement specialist within Advanced Programs, you'll become a vital part of Saab's development of future fighter aircraft – in a dynamic environment where the pace is high, conditions can change quickly, and no two days are the same.
Here you'll work at the absolute cutting edge of technology alongside some of the industry's finest experts. You'll be a central part of Saab's development and prototype projects, working closely with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure the right materials and services are in place when needed. The role also gives you significant scope to influence both working methods and solutions.
You'll be responsible for day-to-day procurement work related to the development projects and work broadly across the entire product rather than within a specific category. This gives you a comprehensive understanding of operations and close connection to the projects, while also giving you the opportunity to contribute to innovation that shapes tomorrow's defense.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Place, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders.
Ensure deliveries according to project plans and sometimes tight timelines.
Maintain daily dialogue with suppliers regarding deliveries, changes, and follow-up.
Manage deviations, backorders, and delivery challenges.
Support strategic procurement specialists with order placement, delivery monitoring, and follow-up.
Provide support to the development organization on procurement-related questions.
Contribute to development and improvement of working methods and procurement processes.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone who thrives in a role where things happen constantly and where structure isn't always given from the start. You're confident in taking your own initiative and can quickly adapt when conditions change. You possess an interest and willingness to concretely contribute to future products, solutions, and working methods.
Requirements for the Position:
Experience in operational procurement, preferably in a technical or project-oriented environment.
Strong knowledge of IFS Sharp.
Good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
It is highly meritious if you have prior knowledge of Saab's procurement processes and a willingness to challenge and develop working methods.
This position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations in effect at any given time. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, certain citizenship may be required if applicable.
