We are now seeking an operational procurement specialist for an extended assignment with our client, a major company in the engineering industry. About the Role As an operational procurement specialist, you will be an important part of the procurement organization and work closely with both strategic and operational procurement specialists, the planning department, project organization, and suppliers. Your main focus is to ensure material supply and high delivery precision to production and projects. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy working proactively, solving problems, and managing multiple parallel processes and stakeholder relationships. Work Location: Solna/Järfälla Assignment Period: Start by agreement - December 31, 2027 Scope: Full-time Your Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Procure materials and services based on planned needs Place and monitor purchase orders Ensure deliveries and follow up on any discrepancies Obtain cost estimates and quotations Handle supplier invoices Maintain ongoing contact with internal requesters and project managers Follow up with suppliers and build strong supplier relationships Work to optimize material and information flows What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, we see that you have: At least 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or similar Experience with operational procurement work Good understanding of supply chain and supply chain management Ability to independently drive procurement processes and ensure high delivery precision Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious Qualifications It is meritorious if you have: Experience from manufacturing industry or production-related activities Experience working at a fast pace with multiple stakeholder contacts Experience from larger technical organizations Experience with supplier management and delivery monitoring Who Are You?
