COO / Chief Financial Officer With experience from production and manufacturing operations We are seeking an experienced and operationally-focused COO / Chief Financial Officer who wants to take overall responsibility for the company's finances while simultaneously contributing to the development and efficiency of our operational activities. The role is ideal for someone who combines solid financial expertise with experience and understanding of production and manufacturing. About the Position As COO / Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with the CEO and other parts of the organization. You are responsible for the company's financial management, monitoring and reporting, while actively working to develop operational productivity, cost control and profitability. A central part of the role is to create clear connections between production, costs, margins and results. Finance and Financial Management • Overall responsibility for the company's finance function • Ongoing accounting and financial monitoring • Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements • Budgeting, forecasts and budget monitoring • Liquidity and cash flow planning • Profitability, cost and margin analyses • Financial reporting and decision-making materials for the CEO and management • Development and monitoring of KPIs • Contact with auditors, banks and external parties • Development of financial procedures and internal controls Production and Operations Management • Monitoring and analysis of production costs • Product and customer profitability • Cost estimates and post-completion analyses • Monitoring of raw material costs • Inventory management and analysis of inventory changes • Production capacity and resource utilization • Productivity and efficiency • Personnel costs in relation to production • Waste and material utilization • Investment calculations and monitoring of investments • Identification and implementation of cost savings • Development and improvement of processes and working methods Qualifications • Relevant education in finance or equivalent experience • Several years of experience in qualified financial work • Very good understanding of income statements, balance sheets and cash flow • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting • Documented experience from production or manufacturing operations • Good understanding of production cost calculations and cost monitoring • Experience with inventory, raw material flows and production-related financial management • Very good Excel skills and experience with business systems Experience from food production or process industry is particularly valuable. Personal Qualities You are analytical, well-organized and business-minded with a strong results focus. You enjoy working close to operations and are accustomed to translating financial analyses into concrete improvement measures.
