Operations Developer
E.ON Sverige Aktiebolag · Vollzeit
Malmö, Schweden
E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy company E.ON SE, headquartered in Essen, Germany. Within the group, approximately 70,000 people work across 17 countries. Around 2,100 engaged employees work throughout Sweden. Our Nordic headquarters is located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heating, and smart energy solutions to over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility for and drive development forward, so that more can transition. Through our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meet future energy needs. About Us The Facility Strategy Group is part of the Facility Management department within the Local Grid. Simply put, Facility Management stands for our "how" and "what," and our colleagues around the country are responsible for making it happen. Together with units and partners, we will build, develop, and maintain the local grid for our approximately 1 million customers, and it is clear that this must be done in the safest and most sustainable way possible. Your Role We are now seeking two people who will work with our investment and management strategy and ensure that these are broken down into activities that contribute to our long-term goals—technically, economically, and sustainably. You will continuously monitor, analyze, and identify the need for adjustments in our investments, with a focus on ensuring they align with technical guidelines, risk levels, and overall strategy. The role is data-driven and analytical, with great opportunities to influence what we invest in—and when. The role also includes: • Working with our experts and specialists to evaluate existing and new components to find improvements from a cost or sustainability perspective. • Collaborating to ensure that our processes and investment and management strategy align with each other. • Collaborating so that our contractors can perform work in line with our strategy, both for construction and maintenance. • Collaborating broadly within the organization on technical decisions, priorities, and long-term action plans. The position involves limited travel. Your Experience We are seeking someone who is genuinely interested in technology and has experience in the electricity grid industry or other infrastructure-related sector. We would like to see that you have a university or college degree, but this is not a requirement if you have industry experience. You have worked in roles involving, for example, analysis, projects, or management—tasks you perform with curiosity, structure, and through collaboration. The work will involve collaboration in national and global partnerships in various groups across E.ON. Since the role involves extensive collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and partners, we are looking for someone with a smooth communication style who can generate interest among your recipients. We need to work as one team to truly succeed with this transition—we are better together! What is it Like Working Here? Magnus Bengtsson will be your direct manager. He practices leadership where your ideas and the team's ideas drive the workflow, and the culture is characterized by trust and confidence. The team's well-being and development are prerequisites for our success. With a coaching approach and great confidence in the team's abilities, he leads through clear goal management, clear areas of responsibility, and regular follow-ups, where dialogue and coaching are an integral part of daily work. At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion—it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continually challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace where we hope you will thrive. We are working toward a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to take care of their own sustainability. We therefore offer good benefits so that you feel well and have good balance between work and leisure time. Some of these include, for example, reduced working hours that are higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more! We warmly welcome you to apply and join us on the journey toward a more sustainable society! Application deadline is October 4.
