Operational Technical Support Engineer - AEVI
As an Operational Technical Support Engineer at AEVI, you will become part of a growing community of experts focused on resolving technical issues and supporting highly available production systems. You will develop your technical skills and help support the critical platform ecosystem in a dynamic fintech environment.
What you will be doing
• Developing knowledge in troubleshooting and triaging of hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Working in a 24/7 shift model: 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off (shifts may fall on weekends and public holidays)
• Monitoring and responding to alerts within critical service architecture
• Activating the incident management process
• Gradually gaining an overview of the interdependencies of individual platform components
• Developing the ability to resolve incidents and direct them toward rapid mitigation
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure efficient operations
• Contributing to the creation and updating of technical documentation
Who we are looking for
• Foundational knowledge of computer science / IT
• Willingness to develop a customer-centric approach to decision making
• Basic awareness of tools such as Git, Grafana, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, Zabbix, New Relic
• Fundamentals of programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Very good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to learn through workshops, SOP documentation and runbooks
• Team spirit and collaborative approach
