Onestep IT is seeking a consultant for our Karlskoga office.

We are a growing consulting firm planning to expand. Today we have 13 employees and operate primarily in Karlstad, Karlskoga, and Örebro and surrounding areas. Most of our customers are small to medium-sized companies and organizations, often without dedicated in-house IT staff, where we instead manage and support their IT environment.
We maintain a personal and close relationship with our customers and often perform our work on-site at the customer's location. We ensure our customers' daily operations run smoothly while guaranteeing their IT environment develops and meets the requirements of their business both now and in the future.
For our Karlskoga office, we are now seeking a person with education or experience in IT operations and support who is curious about new challenges in an expanding, pleasant, and exciting company. Previous experience as an IT consultant is a merit. We prefer candidates living in Karlskoga or nearby municipalities.
You are expected to have knowledge in the following areas:
- Windows Server: Infrastructure and other functions in domain environments
- Networks: ability to configure firewalls, switches, and wireless networks
- PCs (preferably with Mac knowledge as well)
- Microsoft 365 and cloud services
- Experience with installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows Server environments
We prefer that you have expertise in virtualization (Hyper-V and/or VMware), PowerShell, Intune, and experience with server installation and migration.
Desirable, but not required:
- Certifications from Microsoft or other relevant certifications
- Experience with installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of third-party applications such as Monitor, Pyramid, Hogia, Visma.
You have broad IT competence but also a strong interest in people and customer relations. With us, you will have your own customer responsibility and will plan much of your own time together with your customers and colleagues. You will handle preventive maintenance and operations, incident management, installations, support, and over time your own projects. At the same time, you are expected to help customers develop their IT support, provide solution suggestions, and identify areas for improvement.
