About the position With us, patients with complicated infections such as sepsis, respiratory tract infections, and infections of the central nervous system, skeleton, skin, and soft tissues are cared for, monitored, and treated. We also investigate patients with unclear infections where you'll be part of the detective work around the patient. On Infection Unit 3, you'll have great opportunities to gain broad knowledge in acute care with a focus on infectious disease nursing. Infection Unit 3 is equipped with an isolation room specially prepared to receive patients with high-risk infections. Ebola, Lassa fever, and malaria are examples of diagnoses that can be cared for on the unit. We don't just focus on always providing patients with the best care, but also have an extensive responsibility for preventing potential disease transmission in Stockholm. An exciting role where you, together with the Nursing Manager, will drive the development of care forward. The role of Nursing Leader is a management position where the Nursing Leader, together with the Nursing Manager, drives and works on issues concerning nursing development, improvement work, patient safety work, and workplace environment issues. The Nursing Leader participates in daily operational work in planning activities and staffing on both a short- and long-term basis. The role also includes administrative tasks such as schedule planning, invoice handling, incident management, and more. Clinical work is included, which includes evening shifts and 1 weekend out of 5. Night shifts may occur. Qualifications Requirements: Swedish nursing license Substantial clinical experience and senior expertise. Strong commitment to developing care and contributing to the organization's continued quality improvement. Experience in one of the following areas: leadership, quality and improvement work, or research. Merits: Competence corresponding to at least level 3 on Region Stockholm's competence ladder Degree from a Specialist Nurse Program in Infectious Disease Nursing 60 credits, Medical Care 60 credits, or another relevant specialist nurse degree for the organization About the recruitment process Selection and interviews may take place on an ongoing basis during the application period.
