About the Company: Hallsbergs smide AB has been in business for over 70 years. We currently have approximately 35 employees. Our core values are fast deliveries, high quality, and extensive expertise. We work within three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and structural metalwork. We also perform work directly at customer sites. We have broad expertise in sheet metal processing and machine processing. Our focus is on small-batch manufacturing such as prototypes and small series runs. We work with standard steel grades, stainless steel, and aluminum. We are currently certified in ISO9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090 Job Description: We need to strengthen our organization with an employee to work as a "problem solver" – quotation/project management. It is important that you are strongest in mechanics/welding construction and problem-solving of a simpler nature. This means that based on the customer's wishes in the form of request documents, oral presentations / site visits, sketches, and drawings, you can independently convert these into quotations. The job also includes supporting production managers/planners in production technical work, project management, and procuring unique materials for projects. You will also participate in management work for the company and work together with the CEO on the company's future development. We currently use Monitor as our business system and Solid Works (previously AutoCAD) for design. We want you to: - preferably have higher education or a 4-year technical secondary school education (mechanical) or have acquired the knowledge practically over a long time in similar work tasks. - preferably have 2-5 years of experience in similar work or parts of the work tasks. - be creative, able to work independently, and have a developed sense of quality and service. - be responsible, flexible, stress-resilient, and organized in your work. - be production-technically skilled in both welding, sheet metal processing, and machine processing (not a requirement). - have an easy time collaborating with other people and appreciate varied work with many customer contacts. Since we will be working in parallel for some years, you do not need to be completely independent from the start. However, it is important to have experience from our type of manufacturing. You will have colleagues and a supervisor who will support you with their experience.
