Lysingskolan is a municipal primary school for grades 6–9 in Ödeshögs Municipality. As a school nurse at Lysingskolan, you will be a central part of the school's student health team. You work closely with school leadership, school counselor, special education teacher, and other professionals within student health. Together, we work towards a safe, inclusive, and health-promoting school environment where student well-being and learning are at the center. You will meet young people during an important period of their lives and have the opportunity to build trusting relationships through both individual contacts and joint initiatives at the school. The role involves independent responsibility, but also close collaboration with colleagues and school leadership. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a school nurse, you will, among other things: • Conduct health conversations, health examinations, and standard medical interventions within the student health mandate for grades 6–9. • Plan and carry out vaccinations according to the national children's vaccination program and monitor vaccination status. • Identify students in need of support, make medical assessments, and if necessary refer or recommend further care. • Organize and coordinate school doctor services. • Document in the school's digital record system, Prorenata. • Contribute medical expertise to the student health team's joint work. • Collaborate with students, guardians, school staff, healthcare, and other external stakeholders. • Participate in the school's preventive and health-promoting work. QUALIFICATIONS • You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse or specialist training in healthcare for children and young people. If you have started relevant specialist training or are in the final stages of your education, you are also welcome to apply. • You have experience working as a school nurse and good knowledge of the medical interventions of student health. • You are confident, independent, and well-organized in your professional role. • You have a strong commitment to the health, safety, and development of young people. • You have a good ability to build trusting relationships with young people at middle school age. • You enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and have good communication skills. • You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • You have good digital skills and experience with digital record-keeping. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-12-14. Start date by agreement. Working hours: Daytime. Employment form and scope: The position is permanent at 50%. Working hours: Vacation relief position. Salary: Ödeshögs Municipality applies individual salary setting.
