Forging Press and Hammer Operation Operator (M+W) Operation of forging presses in steel forging production. Assembly workers assemble prefabricated parts and components for the production of assembly subgroups, products, and equipment according to precisely established procedures. Products may be moved along assembly lines from one worker to another. Their work typically includes: assembly of various types of products and equipment from individual parts and components according to precisely established procedures; review of established parameters, work procedures, diagrams, and drawings to determine required materials and assembly instructions; maintenance of production and operation records; inspection and testing of finished components, equipment, electrical installations, and circuits; removal of defective equipment and components designated for assembly.
