Metal Machinist (Classical Lathe)

We are looking for colleagues for the position of classical lathe operator in our team. An integral part of the work is setting up and adjusting tools, as well as ongoing quality control through measurement based on technical documentation. Work duties: - operation of classical lathe - machining of simple and precise shapes - clamping and positioning of workpieces in the chuck, selection of suitable tools - quality control - visual inspection and using measuring instruments - work in a clean, modern and safe environment We are looking for someone who has: - Experience in mechanical engineering and machining is an advantage - At least basic knowledge of measurement and working with measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, gauge, ...) - Knowledge of reading technical documentation is an advantage - Willingness to work three shifts (morning 6:10-14:10, afternoon 14:10-22:10, night 22:10-6:10).
