Description of the Preschool Teacher Position
Norlandia Preschools provides education with high pedagogical quality in all our operations. New discoveries every day - is our ambition for every child, every day. Norlandia is a rapidly growing company with many new exciting projects underway. We strive to provide guardians with a positive experience and offer family services that free up time from everyday tasks and provide more leisure time together.
We are innovative preschools that challenge traditional preschool structures and operations. Our approach is called EduZone and is unique to Norlandia. Children are divided into four groups; we have no separate departments but instead one preschool consisting of four challenging learning environments where each child can explore and develop all their abilities simultaneously. We want you to dare to challenge yourself and your perception of preschool. Education should certainly be based on scientific foundations and proven experience, but that doesn't mean we must do things the way we always have! We want you to be positive, spread joy and work ethic, be a driving person who inspires others in pedagogical work, take your own initiatives, and be responsible.
The preschool works in project form with a common focus area for the entire preschool. We have clear documents and digital platforms where we continuously and systematically document and follow up on all children's learning.
Digitality in preschool is self-evident for us, so it is important that you are comfortable with digital tools, both pedagogically and practically. We use Office 365 as a platform for our systematic quality work and development, and Prion for documentation and communication with our guardians.
Preschool Teacher Responsibilities
Responsible for documenting each child's individual and collective learning
Responsible for being pedagogically accountable together with other preschool teachers and leading your work team
Promote the creation of a democratic climate in the group
Collaborate with the work team to offer children a good learning environment for development, play, and learning
Demonstrate work joy and respect for parents and colleagues
Responsible for developing a trusting relationship between you and children's families

Experience working in preschool is desirable
You must have preschool teacher certification

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
