Emergency Medical Services Department (Registration No. 90009029104, nmpd.gov.lv) invites you to apply for a vacant position Physician – Consultant (Profession code 2212 28) Operational Control Center We are looking for a physician who will provide telephone consultations and make decisions about dispatching emergency medical care teams! Work schedule: Indefinite, full-time 40 hours per week according to an aggregated work time schedule Work location: Rīga Your responsibilities will include: consulting with residents and medical professionals during emergency call intake, including providing first aid advice; obtaining sufficient information during calls about the patient's health status and medical history, assessing the received information to make a decision about dispatching an emergency medical care team or refusing dispatch; recording call information in the electronic call record; providing medical consultations and recommendations by telephone within your scope of competence.
