About the Role
As a network technician for our client, you will work with operations, installation, maintenance, and management of development and production environments. You will work systematically with operations and management while keeping track of the latest technology developments to stay at the forefront.
In the role, you will, among other things:
• Work with operations, development, and system upgrades to ensure that networks and systems meet the highest security and functionality requirements.
• Troubleshoot network problems and analyze logs.
• Manage and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technology.
• Contribute to building and managing the company's network structure with world-class security thinking.
• Participate in assignments ranging from cloud migration of server environments to firewall upgrades.
Your Profile:
Requirements:
• Education in network technology or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a network technician
• B-level driver's license
Meritorious
• Experience with security and firewalls, for example Checkpoint, Fortinet
• Knowledge of scripting and automation
• Certification and/or experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Citrix, and F5
• Experience working according to ITIL and ISO 27001
