About the Assignment Barona is now seeking a senior network engineer for a consulting assignment at Fujitsu, a global leader in IT infrastructure, digital transformation, and business-critical technical solutions. As a consultant, you'll be employed by Barona and work as part of Fujitsu's experienced network team in Stockholm. Here you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced and business-critical network environments where stability, security, and performance are crucial for customers' operations. Key Responsibilities As a senior network engineer, you'll among other things: Design, implement, and further develop complex network solutions Ensure stable operations and high availability in network infrastructure Troubleshoot advanced network issues and identify root causes Work with network security and segmentation solutions Participate in bid and procurement work within networking Serve as a technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders Contribute to developing working methods, architecture, and best practices Participate in technical decisions and the development of future network platforms We're Looking for Someone With Several years of experience in operations, troubleshooting, and development of complex network environments Extensive experience with enterprise firewalls, such as Palo Alto and Check Point Experience with Cisco, Cisco ISE, and HPE/Aruba Deep knowledge of routing and switching, including OSPF, BGP, VLAN, and STP Very good understanding of firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Juniper, and Fortinet Experience with segmentation according to established best practice principles Experience with VPN solutions, both Site-to-Site and Remote Access Experience analyzing traffic flows, performing packet captures, and interpreting logs Good understanding of automation and tools such as Python and Ansible Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Fluent Swedish and very good English skills, both spoken and written To Succeed in This Role, You Are Customer-oriented and solution-focused Analytical and structured in your approach Proactive and initiative-taking A team player who thrives in collaboration with others Confident in taking responsibility and driving technical matters forward Calm and methodical even under time pressure Curious about new technology and committed to developing both solutions and working methods Meritorious Experience with monitoring and alert tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, OP5, Elasticsearch, or Catalyst Center Knowledge of Linux-based networking tools such as tcpdump, traceroute, and iptables Experience with scripting and automation for diagnostics and operations Certifications in networking or security, such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or CCSA/CCSE Placement The role is based in Stockholm and requires regular office presence to enable close collaboration with the team and other specialists.
