Night staff needed for LSS housing – are you passionate about safety and quality? We are looking for an independent, competent and confident night shift worker for our LSS residence. In our home, the night plays a crucial role in the residents' entire day. What we offer you The team at Rådmansgatan 1 group home is now looking for a new colleague. Night staff is an important part of our work to create a safe environment and good conditions for an independent life for each individual. We actively work with AAC and TAKK. Routines and regulations are available and are designed based on the needs of our residents. Workplace learning with APT as a forum is central to our workplace; unpretentious and collegial support is a prerequisite for doing the job. Job Description As a support assistant in a group home, you provide our residents with support in their daily lives based on a pedagogical approach. Care and support are provided according to each person's needs, integrity and self-determination. As an awake night staff member, you have overall responsibility for the safety and security of the residence during the night. You work independently and take your own initiative when the situation requires it, while being an important part of a larger team. Close collaboration between day and night staff helps ensure that routines and interactions maintain high quality. Together with your colleagues, you work to involve the individual in their own daily life based on given conditions. You will provide support for people with diagnoses within neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities. The measures vary between compensatory and supportive. Support assistants in Support and Services should: be flexible by identifying and contributing to solutions to problems in daily work have a professional approach and ability to actively work with attitudes and values stay updated, work according to and follow up on the implementation plan that exists for each individual customer/user always prioritize the user's needs first evaluate and examine whether what is being done is beneficial for residents actively work for a good working environment You are expected to be able to make your own decisions, within the scope of your mandate, if the situation requires it. Qualifications We see that you have relevant education, for example a nursing program with a focus on psychiatry or a nursing assistant with a focus on LSS. We see that you are experienced in working with clarifying pedagogy, low-affect interactions, AAC, and visual support. You take responsibility for your work and the overall functioning of the business, are communicative and can work both independently and in a group. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are something the employer sees as a prerequisite for being able to work with us. We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and has good experience working within LSS. You are comfortable working nights, have good judgment and do not hesitate to take necessary initiatives on your own. You have the right professional skills to handle both routine tasks and unexpected events during the night. You are careful with documentation and routines. You are expected to receive delegation for medication and insulin. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude toward your work and who enjoys meeting people. You identify areas of development and take the initiative to change them in consultation with colleagues and your manager. The job requires good initiative, a salutogenic view of people and high work ethic. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You will need to provide a copy of a police records clearance.
