Närakut Danderyd is seeking an experienced specialist physician in general medicine or emergency medicine who wants to help develop the Närakut care level in Stockholm. Our mission is to provide emergency care for children and adults who do not require the resources of an emergency hospital. Our hours are 8–22, the clinic operates on a drop-in basis, and we work interdisciplinary in teams. Our operations are based on emergency care principles that provide great variety in different patient groups. We also have an important educational mission, with supervision of students for our future colleagues.

Job responsibilities: Care for acutely ill patients who do not require emergency hospital resources
Qualifications: We seek licensed physicians with specialist certification in general medicine or emergency medicine.
Swedish C is required.

The position is filled provided it is not needed for internal redeployment, according to applicable regulations.
For patient-facing work within Stockholm County healthcare area:
- a background check will be applied before an employment decision according to SLSO's general guidance for background checks upon employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to applicable directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of Swedish is required corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is advisory for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
