Latvijas Nacionālais arhīvs (Registration No. 90009476367) is hiring Building Superintendent (Permanent position) Technical Support Department, Administrative Division The Technical Support Department is responsible for the management and maintenance of all properties owned, used, and rented by Latvijas Nacionālais arhīvs across Riga and all 26 regional state archive locations throughout Latvia. The department collaborates with VAS "Valsts nekustamie īpašumi" and other service providers to ensure facility maintenance and performs technical and maintenance work. We invite a conscientious, diligent, and responsible professional to join our team as a Building Superintendent for one of our facilities at Bezdelīgu iela 1A, Riga. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining and improving the archive building and its surrounding grounds Organizing and performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the building's technical condition, engineering systems, and equipment Being responsible for fire safety and ensuring compliance with fire safety requirements Organizing maintenance and repair processes Coordinating with service providers and monitoring the quality of completed work Ensuring the archive units within the building are supplied with necessary materials and services, and maintaining inventory of resources We are looking for someone with: At least secondary or secondary vocational education Professional experience in technical and maintenance work, preferably in building management Preferred knowledge of construction and engineering systems operation Fire safety training of at least 20 hours with corresponding certification (considered an advantage) Ability to organize and plan work independently, sense of responsibility, and strong collaboration skills Good computer skills (MS Office, web browsers, email) State language proficiency at C1 level We offer: A stable, responsible, and challenging position in a state institution Professional support and growth opportunities in a strong team Monthly salary from 1040 to 1100 euro before taxes, depending on professional experience Social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations Please send your CV and cover letter with the reference "Technical Support Department Building Superintendent" by September 30, 2026 to: [email protected].
