Tibro Municipality is seeking a child case secretary for our team at the government unit, who wants to contribute with their experience and knowledge in working with children and young people. The Social Welfare Administration has for some time developed stronger collaboration for children and young people with, among others, schools, police and leisure activities. In collaboration with the child and education administration, there is a school social work team to be able to offer early interventions. DUTIES Our target group is children and young people and their families who need support based on current legislation. The work includes meetings with children/young people and guardians, as well as cooperation with health and medical care, schools and other authorities. We actively work with sustainable solutions with our families with internal and external collaboration partners. You are part of a team led by a coordinator and consisting of six government case workers and a foster care secretary. In your work as a child case secretary, your main task is to focus on the placed child/young person and follow up on the care to provide the child with safe and secure care and give the child a voice. You work in close contact with children and young people, guardians and foster families. You conduct continuous follow-ups through child interviews and during home visits. As a child case secretary, you have administrative and case-handling responsibility according to SoL and LVU. We offer case guidance together with the coordinator every week and as needed. Within the unit there are system administrators who provide support in our operation system Lifecare. We also have external guidance. We are now making a major push to work with AI as documentation support connected to our operation system which we implemented during the spring. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a degree in social work. The assignment as a child case secretary requires good knowledge of current legislation. You express yourself well orally and in writing, have good knowledge of the legislation and can work independently within the framework of government authority. It is meritorious if you have previous experience of working with placed children and young people, as well as knowledge and experience of working with BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus) and Lifecare. As a case worker, you see solutions and contribute with positive energy in a fast-paced and complex professional practice. In your work, you should be confident in your professional role and be able to meet people in need of social services' support and assistance in a clear and trustworthy manner. This job suits you if you are humble, empathetic and clear in your working method. You have a natural ability to collaborate with both colleagues and the operation's collaboration partners. You want to make a difference for children and their families, you believe in every individual's ability to change and see the family network as a positive driving force. You have a good ability to build trust, listen and adapt to new people and situations as well as being good at organizing and planning to independently drive your work forward. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Entry: Entry by agreement.
