Do you want to make a difference too? Then you should work with us! At Kulturskolan you work together in a small team with drama teachers, dance teachers and other music teachers. A large part of your position is allocated to compulsory music instruction in primary school and collaboration with the primary school is close. Teaching takes place in half classes and is distributed across several schools with well-equipped music rooms. In addition to this, you teach within Kulturskolan, where instrumental instruction can take place during school hours. Kulturskolan also plays a major role in the schools' Lucia celebrations and end-of-year festivities. Teaching takes place at different locations in the municipality, which is why a B-class driver's license is a requirement and access to your own vehicle is desirable. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your position you are expected to teach grades F-6 in primary school's compulsory music and play an important role in the school's Lucia celebration and end-of-year festivities. Other teaching is allocated within Kulturskolan where you teach the instruments where you have competence. Work may take place in evenings and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS • You hold music teacher certification or other equivalent competence in music and pedagogy as well as experience teaching in primary school. • You have a structured working method and good ability to design instruction based on students' needs. • You are flexible, see collaboration as important and have a solution-focused approach.
