Jernvallsskolan is located in southern Sandviken, next to Jernvallen and Göransson Arena where the school conducts its sports activities. Jernvallsskolan is close to Storsjön and uses that proximity in teaching. We are now seeking a music teacher who can utilize recently completed music teaching facilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position primarily involves teaching music but may be combined with another subject based on your qualifications. As a teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching according to the school's governing documents. The assignment involves creating an accessible learning environment where students' curiosity and desire to learn are valued. There are good opportunities for small-group music instruction in group rooms directly adjacent to the classroom.

• Stimulating students' development and learning based on their individual needs
• Building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Being a clear and trustworthy role model for students
• Actively working for an inclusive and safe school environment
• Collaborating with the work team to develop teaching

QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you need good pedagogical insight and an understanding of how students learn in different ways. You have a talent for building trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and accessible learning environment. Attentiveness and collaborative skills are important qualities in collegial work, where teaching is developed together. A structured work approach facilitates planning and follow-up, while flexibility allows you to handle changing needs and see opportunities in new situations. An inclusive approach permeates your work and creates good conditions for all students.
The position requires:
• Teaching certification with qualification in music for grades 4-6.
• Good knowledge of primary school governing documents
• Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written
We would like it if you also have English in your qualifications, but it is not a requirement. Good IT skills and experience using digital tools are merits.
