The Lindesberg factory - known as Meritor - has been part of the global Cummins corporation since August 2022, a leading global supplier of powertrains to the heavy vehicle industry.
In Lindesberg, front and rear axles are produced for buses and trucks. Additionally, components such as housings, gearboxes, drive sets, differential gears, and planetary gear components are manufactured. Cummins currently employs approximately 75,000 people worldwide. In the Örebro region, Cummins is a major employer with approximately 900 employees.

Your responsibilities
About the position
We are now seeking assemblers for our client Cummins in Lindesberg.
As an assembler, you will primarily work with assembling wheel axles for heavy vehicles. The work takes place at a production line where you, together with a colleague, are responsible for the assembly. Depending on operational needs, you may also rotate between different departments.
Work tasks may vary between departments and include assembly, production work, monitoring production processes, and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment. You will be an important part of production and contribute with the team to efficient and quality manufacturing.
Working hours
Work is primarily scheduled in three shifts, which means day, evening, and night work. We therefore prefer that you are flexible and able to work all shifts.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts easily when circumstances change. You are positive, engaged, and goal-oriented, take responsibility for your tasks, and bring good energy to the team.
A forklift certificate is required.
Other information
We are looking for someone interested in full-time employment. This position is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Konsultia AB and work at our client Cummins in Lindesberg. For the right person, there are good opportunities for a permanent position at Cummins Meritor after a period as a consultant, provided the collaboration works well.
We offer union-scale wages and follow the applicable collective agreement for the position.
