The Language Center in Botkyrka Municipality is responsible for native language instruction and study guidance at municipal primary and secondary schools as well as independent schools. The Language Center is also responsible for receiving and school placement of newly arrived students. We are tasked with preserving and promoting multilingualism. The Position and Responsibilities As a native language teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing instruction according to each student's circumstances. You will also evaluate and develop the pedagogical work of the operation. The work is conducted both independently and together with engaged colleagues. Your main responsibilities are: Conduct native language instruction and study guidance in Urdu. Assign grades and assessments. Maintain contact with students, parents, other teachers, and schools. You will conduct instruction at different schools in the municipality and as support for pedagogical work, you have access to technical tools. About You We are looking for someone with Swedish native language teacher certification with authorization to teach native language, or authorization validated by the Swedish Higher Education Authority. We expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish and the Swedish school system. You can conduct instruction independently and based on governing documents, and it is self-evident for you to work with ICT and you are interested in digital development and the opportunities it provides in instruction. We consider it meritorious if you: Swedish native language teacher certification in the native language Urdu. Swedish teacher certification in other subjects. Have worked as a native language teacher and with study guidance. Have worked as a teacher. You need to be very organized as you will plan and conduct your instruction on your own. Creating relationships is important as you will have a lot of contact with all schools, parents, and students. You will work together with schools and teachers in study guidance, and collaboration is the key word there.
