The Competence Center for Multilingualism works to ensure that students have the opportunity to receive instruction in their native language and study support in the language they master best. The organization currently has 38 different languages represented. We collaborate with both municipal and independent school providers, from preschool class through upper secondary school.
Students who have at least one guardian with a native language other than Swedish have the opportunity to study their language as a separate school subject. Through native language instruction, students strengthen their multilingualism, develop their identity, and build pride in their language and background.
We are now seeking a native language teacher in Kunama!
