We are looking for a furniture maker or fine woodworker to join our door manufacturing shop. Do you want to work with genuine craftsmanship – for real? We are now seeking a trained furniture maker or fine woodworker who wants to become part of our team in Leksand. At Allmogesnickerier, we manufacture doors and windows in the traditional way. This is about craftsmanship, thoughtfully designed details, and materials that speak for themselves. Our products are custom-made and produced in our own workshop – primarily exterior and interior doors, but also other components related to windows and doors. We currently have six people in production and are now looking for our seventh colleague. With us, you will work with: manufacturing exterior and interior doors in genuine traditional style massive wood and traditional construction methods mirror doors, panel doors, and various types of glass openings custom-made products where details and proportions are important a craft where machines and tools are used as aids – but where the craftsperson's knowledge and feel make the difference We do not manufacture hundreds of identical doors on an assembly line. Each product has its own requirements, and many of our customers choose us precisely because they want something genuine and well-crafted. Our goal is to create new doors and windows that feel as if they have always belonged in the house. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is trained as a furniture maker or fine woodworker and who enjoys working with wood and traditional craftsmanship. You are thorough, quality-conscious, and have a feel for details. You need to be able to work independently, but also appreciate being part of a small work team where people help each other and share their knowledge. Experience in door or window manufacturing is a plus, but what matters most is that you have a solid foundation in fine woodworking and a genuine passion for the craft. A workplace like no other Our workshop is beautifully located right on the banks of the Österdalälven river, just a few minutes from central Leksand. Here you work in a small and personal operation with long experience and a good reputation. Allmogesnickerier has been around for over 50 years, and our idea is still the same: to offer a genuine alternative to mass-produced doors and windows.
