About the Residence
Tuagården in Fränninge is located in a calm and rural environment near Sjöbo and is one of our 9 § 9 group homes for user group 1 within Region Skåne. Currently, six people live in the service residence.
Your Responsibilities
With us, we communicate using sign language (which we offer in-house training in) or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. You will be part of a work team where you work together to ensure that each individual has meaningful activities and a fulfilling daily life. Your task is to provide support in each individual's daily life and assist based on their needs. You will also assist with everyday tasks such as personal hygiene, repositioning or turning, medication when needed, documentation, and cleaning. You are expected to participate in the individual's activities, such as day outings or other events. Overall, your contributions enable the individual's right to independence and self-determination.
About You
We see that you have completed upper secondary education, preferably in healthcare and social services, child and youth services, or equivalent. Experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of low-arousal work approaches are merits. We would like to see that you have experience in healthcare and social services and that you have previously worked with similar tasks. Knowledge of sign language as well as understanding of disabilities and experience from psychiatry are merits.
As a person, you are considerate and value other people's well-being. You genuinely care about and want to understand other people's feelings and needs. You see possibilities in change and find solutions when situations change. You are relationship-building, create trust, and build good cooperation with both individuals and colleagues. We believe you are reliable, persistent, and can meet both everyday routines and challenges with patience and thoughtfulness, while being confident in yourself and having good self-awareness.
Since you document your work, you also need to have a strong command of the Swedish language.
A driver's license is a requirement.

Employment
We offer you a temporary position with hourly wages. We apply individual salary setting and start date is by agreement. A requirement for employment is that you can provide a document from the suspicion and conviction register. Your working hours will include day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship check. You will need to provide a passport, national ID card, or a certificate of identity. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide proof of a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit according to the Immigration Ordinance 6 chapter §13a.
As part of our recruitment process, we use problem-solving and personality tests.
