About the Residence
Tuagården in Fränninge is located in a quiet, rural setting near Sjöbo and is one of our 9 § 9 group homes for client group 1 within Region Skåne. Currently, six people live in the service residence.
Your Tasks
We communicate using sign language (which we offer in-house training in) or adapt our communication in other ways based on the individual's needs. You will be part of a team working together to ensure each individual has meaningful activities and a fulfilling daily life. Your role is to support individuals in their daily lives and assist based on their needs. You will also help with everyday tasks such as personal hygiene, positioning and turning, medication administration when needed, documentation, and cleaning. You are expected to participate in the individuals' activities, such as day trips or other events. Overall, your work enables individuals to exercise their right to independence and self-determination.
About You
We're looking for someone with a completed secondary education, preferably in healthcare and elderly care, children and recreation, or equivalent. Experience with challenging behaviors and knowledge of low-affect therapeutic approaches are advantageous. We value prior experience in healthcare and similar roles. Sign language proficiency, knowledge of disabilities, and psychiatric experience are also advantageous.

Since you will be documenting your work, you must also have strong Swedish language skills.
A driver's license is required.

Employment
We offer a full-time position with monthly salary. A 6-month probationary period will apply. We use individual salary setting, and start date is by agreement. A requirement for employment is that you can provide a record check from the suspicion and conviction register. Your working hours will include days, evenings, and alternating weekends.
Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship check. You will need to present a passport, national ID card, or certificate of identity. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide proof of a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the work permit requirement under the Aliens Ordinance 6 chap §13a.
As part of our recruitment process, we use problem-solving and personality tests.
