About the Position As a sanitation worker, you will work at our recycling centers in Örnsköldsvik and surrounding areas. You meet customers, help them sort correctly, and ensure that materials are handled in a safe and sustainable way. The work is practical, varied, and sometimes physically demanding. You work both outdoors and indoors, have many customer interactions, and need to be comfortable with days that can look different. The position also includes evening and weekend work. Examples of Work Tasks With us, you get varied work where you combine customer service with practical tasks. You will, among other things: guide and help customers sort and recycle correctly handle operations and basic maintenance at recycling centers and other facilities handle hazardous waste and chemicals according to applicable procedures and safety regulations maintain order in the area and contribute to the facility functioning well for both customers and colleagues collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a safe, pleasant, and efficient work environment. Qualifications To be considered for the position, you need to have: B-class driver's license for manual transmission, as you need to be able to travel between our facilities Good Swedish in speech and writing, as you need to be able to understand instructions, safety data sheets, and other documentation Basic digital proficiency and willingness to learn new digital tools. Formal IT training is not required. It is advantageous if you have: Experience from service professions, customer meetings, waste management, recycling, or chemical handling Higher driver's license qualifications The professional certificate Recycling Worker within ÅVC.
