- Job Description: As a vocational training instructor, you will be a key figure in the professional development of our students. According to the curriculum, you will guide them in these areas:
* Commercial Horticulture and Growing Technology: Guiding students in establishing and maintaining gardens, orchards, and vegetable plots. Teaching growing techniques for ornamental trees, vegetables, and fruit. Practical training in plant propagation - seeding, cutting, grafting, budding. Plant care during the growing season - watering, fertilizing, pest and disease management.
* Arboriculture and Landscape Creation: Establishing and maintaining lawns, flower beds, and tree plantings. Pruning and care of ornamental and fruit trees. Working with seeds and seedlings - from sowing to planting mature plants.
* Mechanization and Maintenance: Training in the operation of horticultural equipment - hedge trimmers, mowers, chainsaws, sprayers, irrigation systems. Basic maintenance and repairs of machinery and tools - to keep everything in working order.
* Safety and Health Standards (BOZP): You will teach students that safe work practices are the foundation of professional conduct.
- We Are Looking For: A professional with natural authority who can inspire enthusiasm for the field. Education: Secondary education with a vocational certificate or high school diploma in horticulture, arboriculture, or a related agricultural field. Qualifications: Meeting pedagogical requirements according to law no. 563/2004 Coll. (if you lack pedagogical training, we will help you obtain it while employed). Experience: Demonstrated experience in commercial horticultural operations - you must know what you're talking about. Ideally from commercial horticulture, arboriculture, or growing technology fields. Driver's License: Category B is required (possibility of relocation to the workplace); Category T is an advantage. Personal Qualities: Patience, responsibility, and the ability to work with youth in accordance with our school's values. Communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge in ways that engage students.
