KARSIT, s.r.o. is seeking an experienced production manager/supervisor for its automotive manufacturing facility who can lead a team, maintain stable line performance, and ensure fulfillment of demanding customer requirements.
Fixed-term employment, two-shift operation. Start date: immediately or by agreement.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and organizing a team of operators and machine setters in shift operations
- Responsibility for meeting production schedules and ensuring quality of manufactured parts
- Monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety, work procedures, and 5S standards
- Ensuring adequate staffing, managing breaks, and handling operational personnel matters
- Supporting and coordinating maintenance for troubleshooting and repairs
- Recording production data in the system (e.g., ERP/MES), analyzing OEE, downtime, and non-conformities
- Training new employees and supporting their adaptation
- Responsibility for workplace readiness for audits (internal, customer, LPA)
Required qualifications:
- Secondary technical education
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive or series manufacturing
- Experience leading people (supervisor, team leader, senior operator)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical documentation, and quality fundamentals
- Diligence, ability to enforce rules while maintaining a fair approach
- Willingness to work in two-shift operations
- Responsibility, independence, stress resilience
- Knowledge of 5S, IATF basics, and Lean methods is a plus
