About the Position
The role of Environmental Steward is part of our Environmental Steward Program and is a time-limited employment for up to 18 months. In this role, you will be part of a team that primarily works with supervision and maintenance in and around the properties. This means you and your team are responsible for keeping the common areas clean and tidy. The role requires you to be social and service-oriented so that you can maintain good relationships with residents, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Your duties include:
Exterior maintenance and cleaning of courtyard areas
Managing the property's common areas such as waste management, stairwells, basements, and laundry rooms
Supervision in and around the properties - ensuring cleanliness and tidiness
Minor repairs to, for example, seating areas, playgrounds, and garage and parking spaces
Your Profile
To be considered for this position, you must have a B driver's license and we would appreciate if you live at one of Victoriahem's properties. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and self-driven in your daily work. You are good at building relationships, enjoy working outdoors, and are comfortable with occasionally physically demanding work. Experience and/or training in the field is a plus, but not required. In this role, we highly value personality, motivation, and drive.
