We are looking for an environmental engineer who wants to be part of developing our work with environmental permits, government contacts, reporting, and more. Your area of responsibility covers three locations: Norrköping (A-permit and Seveso), Lidköping (B-permit), and Kimstad (C-facility). The placement is in Norrköping. What you will do As an environmental engineer, you will have a central role in our work with permit issues and reporting. You work closely with operations and provide support to managers and employees on matters relating to environmental legislation, permits, self-monitoring, environmental technology, and continuous improvements. You will be an important part in ensuring that operations meet regulatory requirements while driving development toward higher environmental performance at our facilities. Manage and develop our environmental management work Ensure support so that operations can comply with environmental legislation, conditions, and regulatory requirements Coordinate and develop self-monitoring programs Prepare and follow up on environmental reports, permit conditions, and government contacts Participate in and drive environmental investigations and environmental risk assessments Support operations on issues related to air, soil, and water Assist in internal and external audits Participate in investment and development projects with environmental expertise Conduct training and information initiatives in the environmental field Contribute to Biorefineries' sustainability and climate goals with expertise and decision-making support Travel is part of the position What you need to succeed and thrive You have: University or college education in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering, or equivalent expertise Experience in environmental work in industry, energy, process industry, or similar operations Strong knowledge of the Environmental Code and related legislation Experience with permit issues, self-monitoring, and environmental reporting Ability to work both strategically and operationally Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written You are: As a person you are analytical, structured, and driven.
