About the jobAt the beginning of 2027, we will take over responsibility for waste collection in the southwestern part of Gothenburg, with the City of Gothenburg - Kretslopp och vatten as the client and partner. As an environmental worker, you have a key role in the company. You are Verdis' face to the public and you become one of our everyday heroes who helps keep Stockholm clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You will work from our depot in Kållered and report to the local work supervisor. Your work tasks include, among other things: Collection and transport of waste Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment Deviation reporting Daily maintenance of vehicle and attachments Who are you?We are looking for someone with a C license and YKB who has proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. The following experience and knowledge are considered advantageous: Experience driving heavy vehicles Knowledge of heavy vehicles Experience with some form of waste collection Local knowledge (Gothenburg) Good computer skills This position suits you if you enjoy dynamic work in a fast-paced environment and have good physical condition.
