About the jobVerdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Stockholm city, with Stockholm Vatten och Avfall as the client and partner. To strengthen the department, we're now looking for engaged and positive environmental workers with C-license and YKB.
As an environmental worker, you have a key role in the company. You are Verdis's face to the public and you become one of our everyday heroes who helps keep Stockholm clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You work from our depot in Älvsjö and report to the local supervisor.
Your work tasks include, among other things:
Collection and transport of waste
Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
Incident reporting
Daily maintenance of vehicles and attachments
Who are you?We're looking for someone who has C-license and YKB and who is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
The following experience and knowledge are considered meritorious:
Experience driving heavy vehicles
Knowledge of heavy vehicles
Experience with some type of waste collection
Local knowledge (Stockholm)
Good computer skills
