We are looking for an energy or environmental consultant to join a technology consulting firm in Uppsala. You will work closely with customers in the manufacturing industry and drive technical and environmental projects from analysis to implementation. This role is perfect for you if you already have experience from the process industry or technology consulting sector and want to get closer to both customers and business. You need to be able to take responsibility independently, understand the customer's operations, and drive your tasks forward. About the Company The company is a well-established specialist firm in energy, environment, and process industry with over 25 years of experience. With around 17 employees, the business is established in Central Sweden and is now in a growth phase where they are building up operations in Uppsala. The company primarily serves customers in combined heat and power, industry, water and sanitation, energy, and production. The projects are often technically complex and regulatory-driven, with customers including energy companies, process industries, and major production facilities throughout Sweden. About the Role As an energy or environmental consultant, you will work with process and environmental projects for customers primarily in the manufacturing industry and water and sanitation. You will, among other things: • Drive technical and environmental projects • Investigate and analyze technical issues • Collect, evaluate, and compile technical and legal information • Prepare technical materials, analyses, and reports • Work with process-related issues in the manufacturing industry • Visit customers and familiarize yourself with their operations • Participate in customer meetings and conduct technical dialogues • Translate technical theory and requirements into practical solutions • Identify needs and possible solutions together with the customer • Collaborate with colleagues in energy, environment, technology, and systems • Take responsibility for driving projects and tasks forward For the right person, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility for projects, customer relationships, and business development. We are Looking for You If You: • Have a university degree in energy, environment, or equivalent technical field • Have at least two years of relevant work experience from the process industry or technology consulting sector • Have experience working with technical issues in industrial operations • Have the ability to receive, evaluate, compile, and present technical and legal information • Have good social and pedagogical skills • Have a genuine interest in the process industry and customers' operations • Have a clear drive and take responsibility for tasks and projects reaching completion • Are resident in Uppsala • Have very good Swedish in speech and writing • Hold a B driver's license We believe you will thrive in a consulting role where you get to combine technology with customer contact.
