MHS Bostäder Seeks a Self-Directed and Dedicated Property Caretaker Are you looking for a varied job with a stable and trustworthy employer? Then you might be MHS Bostäder's next property caretaker! MHS Bostäder is a foundation that rents out apartments to employees of the Swedish Armed Forces and students at the Swedish Defence University. We build and develop residential facilities in-house and manage properties with a long-term perspective. Our centrally located office currently has 14 employees. Learn more about us at: www.mhsbostader.se About the Position As a property caretaker, you will ensure that MHS Bostäder's properties are in good condition and that tenants have a pleasant living environment. You will work with both interior and exterior maintenance and are responsible for properties within a specific geographical area. You will also perform minor repairs, conduct inspections, and ensure that maintenance requests are handled and completed properly while providing tenants with good feedback. You will be part of a maintenance team of five people and work from pleasant and comfortable offices on Östermalm. Properties are located in central Stockholm, Kungsängen, Haninge, Enköping, and Uppsala. Your Responsibilities Handle and execute work orders (plumbing, electrical, ventilation/HVAC, etc.) Tenant contact Property inspections Responsibility for maintaining property functions Troubleshooting/repairs Coordination with contractors Replacement of furniture and inventory Document completed work in the property management system Qualifications The role requires that you have upper secondary education and several years of experience working as a property caretaker Strong knowledge of property maintenance and inspections Experience from skilled trades or control and regulation technology is a plus.
