LATVIA NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY invites applications for the position of METHODOLOGIST Job Responsibilities: Ensure preparation and circulation of documents related to the activities of the Science Vice-Rector's Office in cooperation with other NAA and Educational Management Directorate structural units; Administer guest lectures organized by the Science Vice-Rector's Office and other Latvia-wide and international events; Implement communication with organizations overseeing Latvia's science sector and ensure provision and updating of information related to NAA scientific activities in the databases of the Ministry of Education and Science and organizations under its supervision; Reflect the scientific work results of NAA Science Vice-Rector's Office researchers on the NAA website; Organize cooperation procedures with external service providers by conducting price inquiries and coordinating the conclusion and payment of external service contracts; Protocoling of NAA Science Council and other types of meetings. Requirements for Candidates: Compliance with the requirements of Article 9 of the Law "On State Secrets." First-cycle higher education. Proficiency in MS WORD, MS EXCEL, and MS POWER POINT applications. Excellent knowledge of Latvian language, good knowledge of English language (for communication with foreign guest lecturers and organization of international events). Knowledge of the organization of the work to be performed and related regulatory acts. Ability to critically analyze information, determine work priorities, and make decisions. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to use information and communication technologies in daily work. Offering: Employment contract for an indefinite period. Social guarantees in accordance with public administration standards, health insurance, and monthly salary according to the 7th salary group from 1292 EUR to 1407 EUR (before tax deduction) depending on professional experience and education. Regular working hours - 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with the possibility of performing work duties remotely (by separate agreement). Work location - Ezermalas Street 8B, Riga, LV-1014.
