About the Position As a Mechanical Design Engineer at LUVE, you will be an important part of the Technical & Innovation team. You will be responsible for developing, improving, and customizing the company's products while ensuring that designs meet both customer requirements and production needs. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in sales, production, quality, product management, and development, both locally and internationally. You will have a central role in developing technical solutions that create value for customers while streamlining operations. You will work with: • Design and development of products and customized solutions • Creation, updates, and quality assurance of technical drawings and design documentation • Development and maintenance of the company's drawing library • Customer-specific design improvements • Rationalization projects that contribute to more efficient production and increased customer value • Technical support to sales and production organizations • Management of design-related deviations and customer adaptations • Collaboration with international colleagues within the group and participation in development projects initiated by headquarters About You We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who thrives in a role where you can combine design, problem-solving, and collaboration. You likely have a higher technical education, civil engineering degree, or vocational education in mechanical engineering, product development, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have built your competence through relevant work experience. We would like to see that you have: • Experience in mechanical design • Strong knowledge of CAD systems and drawing management • Experience with technical documentation • Experience in product development and improvement work • Understanding of production, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturing • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You take initiative, work independently, and are driven by finding smart solutions to technical challenges. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaboration and finds it easy to build good relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders. For Your Information The position is a full-time (100%) role with placement in Asarum (Karlshamn municipality). A trial period may be applied. Start date by agreement.
