Are you a mechanic with experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment? Location: Billesholm Start: Immediate Assignment Length: 6 months with good opportunities for extension Scope: Full-time, daytime 07:00-16:00 About the mechanic role As a mechanic, you will be an important part of the maintenance department where you work together with mechanics, electrical and automation technicians, and other functions within production. The role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance with a focus on ensuring high operational reliability and minimizing production downtime. Work is performed both in the workshop environment and on the production lines. Some work tasks take place in warm environments as parts of the production are connected to melting processes. Examples of work tasks: Troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of machinery and production equipment Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance Welding in TIG and metal arc Bearing assembly and repair, troubleshooting, and renovation of production equipment Work both in the workshop and in production Participate in improvement work and projects within the company's development activities Collaborate closely with production to optimize processes and reduce downtime Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys solving problems in a varied daily routine. You are proactive, take responsibility, and have a strong focus on safety and quality. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaboration across different functions. Since some work tasks take place in warm environments, we see that you have good physical capacity. Requirements for the position Workshop technical education at upper secondary level or equivalent experience Education or experience in welding Knowledge in TIG welding Experience with similar work tasks in an industrial or process environment Good computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish and English B class driver's license Meritorious Experience with SAP Information about background check In accordance with our customers' requirements, a background check in the criminal and delinquency register is conducted in this recruitment as part of the employment process.
