About the Position Do you thrive with preventive work and have a genuine technical and mechanical interest? We are now looking for a new colleague to join our tight team! As a mechanic at SMA, you will work in a great work team consisting of a mix of mechanics and operators who together ensure that operations run smoothly. Work hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00. Your Responsibilities The work tasks are varied and can range from commissioning brand new equipment to performing ongoing service and maintenance. Preventive and corrective maintenance includes: Lubrication Electrical/mechanical work Preventive maintenance Operator work SMA Mineral applies individual training programs as needed to support your development. Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience working in a workshop or industrial environment with repair of technical equipment. It is advantageous if you have experience repairing electric motors, performing bearing replacements, or bearing assembly. Most importantly to us is your personality. Meritorious Qualifications Experience with mechanical work in the process industry Wheel loader license C2 material handling Welding Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Additional Information We apply a 6-month probationary period.
