STATE SOCIAL CARE CENTER "Zemgale" (Reg. No. 40900035103)
is the largest provider of state long-term social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia.
We are hiring a MECHANISMS MECHANIC (profession code: 723320)
at the "Rūja" branch (for a fixed period, 1.00 full-time equivalent)
Requirements for applicants:
Secondary vocational education, knowledge of the state language;
Desirable work experience of at least 1 year;
Ability to be customer-oriented, balanced, attentive, and responsible for your actions and work;
Valid electronic signature (we will help you create one).
Main responsibilities:
Be familiar with the structure, operating principles, and maintenance regulations of mechanical equipment in the branch;
Monitor the technical condition of garden equipment (lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and other mechanisms and equipment), perform their maintenance and repair, and provide written and timely information to the Head of the Facilities Department about parts needed for repairs;
Perform maintenance and repair of heat energy equipment, except for equipment under warranty;
Organize and perform maintenance and repair work on automated equipment, except for equipment under warranty;
Monitor client assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, bicycles, etc.), perform their maintenance and repair;
Monitor and control the condition of electrical appliances, household and professional equipment (washing machines, clothes dryers, etc.), perform equipment repair work within your competence (except for equipment under warranty), and take preventive measures against emergencies;
Accept objects or equipment being put into operation;
Participate in preparing technical specifications for the purchase of goods and services within your competence.
We offer:
Salary of EUR 800–EUR 1100 (gross) per month, EUR 825 during the probation period, average salary EUR 950 after probation;
Social benefits in accordance with state administration regulations;
Work experience in state administration;
Good working conditions, additional leave for annual reviews from 4–10 working days per year;
Health insurance after 3 months of work.
