STATE SOCIAL CARE CENTER "Zemgale" (Reg. No. 40900035103)
is the largest provider of state long-term social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia.
We invite a MECHANICS TECHNICIAN (profession code: 723320)
to work at the "Lielbērze" branch (for an indefinite period, 1.00 FTE)
Requirements for candidates:
Secondary vocational education, knowledge of the state language;
Desired work experience of at least 1 year;
Ability to be client-oriented, prudent, attentive, responsible for your actions and work;
Desired category B driver's license and experience driving vehicles for at least one year;
Valid electronic signature (we will help you create one).
Main responsibilities:
Know the structure, operating principles, and operating regulations of mechanical equipment in the branch;
Monitor the technical condition of garden equipment (lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws and other mechanisms and units), perform their maintenance and repair, provide timely written information to the Head of the Economic Department about parts needed for repairs;
Perform the operation and repair of thermal energy equipment, except equipment under warranty;
Organize and perform maintenance and repair of automated equipment, except equipment under warranty;
Monitor client assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, bicycles, etc.), perform their maintenance and repair;
Monitor and control the condition of electrical goods, household and professional equipment (washing machines, clothes dryers, etc.), perform equipment repairs within your competence (except equipment under warranty), take preventive measures;
Accept objects or equipment being put into operation;
Participate in preparing technical specifications for goods and services procurement within your competence.
We offer:
Salary EUR 800–EUR 1,100 (gross) per month, EUR 825 during probation period, average salary EUR 950 after probation;
Social guarantees as provided by state administration;
Work experience in state administration;
Good working conditions, additional leave for annual evaluation from 4–10 working days per year;
Health insurance after 3 months of employment.
Work location: VSAC "Zemgale" branch "Lielbērze", Lielbērze, Auri Parish, Dobele District.
