JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you to work as a Medical Director Nurse (MAS), and to be a key person in the Social Affairs Department's quality and development work. The work involves being a driving force in development issues from a patient safety and evidence-based perspective, as well as monitoring the external environment. You have both a development and supervisory responsibility. Your areas of responsibility include ensuring that patients receive safe and appropriate healthcare of good quality, establishing safe and clear procedures for medication management, creating procedures for contact with physicians and other healthcare personnel, ensuring that delegation decisions are patient-safe, maintaining patient records, reporting to the municipal board committee if a patient has risked or been subjected to serious injury or illness in connection with care and treatment, and reporting to IVO (the Health and Social Care Inspectorate) according to Lex Maria.
You will be part of the Quality Manager's management group where we have good and open collaboration. Collaboration with other employees and managers in the department is teamwork with good relationships. We are proud that our Health and Care Unit has good staffing of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You work in close collaboration with colleagues in neighboring municipalities, and you are also part of a regional network where you cooperate with colleagues from all thirteen municipalities in Jönköpings County. QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed nurse with several years of experience in healthcare work. You will greatly benefit from having specialist education and experience in leading others in healthcare work. A Medical Director Nurse is well versed in overall operations and functions as a specialist in everything for which the municipality has healthcare responsibility. We are looking for someone who is organized and can raise issues and development areas within your responsibility. One moment you are supporting managers and employees, and the next moment you are an advocate from the patients' perspective. Important qualities in this role are having good teaching abilities, being good at building new relationships and earning others' trust. You have the ability to cooperate both internally and externally. You need to be able to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and hold a B driver's license. You also have good computer skills to work in data systems.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
